Doha – Mubasher: Aamal Company on Tuesday announced that it will disclose its financial results for the first quarter of 2017 on Wednesday, 26 April, according to a statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).

The Qatari company last reported a sharp drop of 83.5% year-on-year in its profits for Q4-16 to QAR 38.63 million ($10.6 million) compared to QAR 234.3 million ($64.3 million) in Q4-15.

Profits for the full year 2016 also declined by 23.1% to QAR 462.3 million from QAR 601 million in 2015.

Aamal’s ordinary general meeting (OGM) is set to meet on 17 April to discuss the distribution of cash dividends for 2016 at QAR 0.6 per share, representing 6% of the share’s par value.
